Who is Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training for?

Sweet Momma Yoga's Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training (PYTT): Bump, Baby, and Beyond is ideal for yoga teachers. This course is also suitable for fitness professionals, those in the perinatal fields (nurses, midwives, doulas, doctors, psychologists, etc.) who have some yoga experience along with a desire to gain greater knowledge to better assist people during pregnancy, birthing, and beyond.

There is a need in our modern world to support people as they become parents. This is a time of transformation - as no one is the same after the birth of their child(ren.) When we raise our own vibration to the umbrella of love while growing another human, we will truly affect the root cause of increased peace on earth. The generational cycle of emotional healing will be far less necessary than in previous generations.

Join your community of helpers encouraging ways to nurture acceptance in pregnancy, birth with greater confidence, and trust they are capable of handling whatever comes their way.

Each month I offer a free webinar to answer frequently asked questions about becoming a prenatal and/or postnatal yoga teacher. Please save our spot to gather more information.

About This Course

Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training School Michigan - Sweet Momma Yoga - RPYS_TrademarkSweet Momma Yoga is the original Registered Prenatal Yoga School (RPYS) in Michigan and the Toledo, Ohio area.

To ensure participants receive proper and individualized attention this course holds space for six trainees, and surpasses the minimum RPYS standards by extending the program to 100 hours at no additional cost to students.

Fertility, pregnancy, childbirth, and the first year postpartum will be studied on many levels. These life topics are delicate in nature. Please be aware of your own life experiences as sometimes past or unresolved feelings may come to light. As such, time to debrief and discuss is available. This fosters the ability to ultimately help others without attaching personal feelings on someone else's life journey.

Pelvic Floor and Core Health instructed by Dr. Rachael E. Miller, Physical Therapist and Women's Health Coach

Trauma-informed approach instructed by Adria Moses, owner of The School of Radical Healing

Ayurveda for pregnancy and postpartum instructed by Beena Vesikar, owner of Beayurvedic.

As program director and lead trainer, Elise Bowerman was fortunate to grow up in a household with a holistic mind-set and practiced yoga 10 years before her first child was born. She taught and practiced yoga throughout the entire pregnancies of both children experiencing first-hand what it's like to evolve at this time in life... personally and professionally. Due to her healthful living background she works closely with and advocates for doulas, midwives, chiropractors, holistic medicine, pelvic floor physical therapists, perinatal and antenatal psychologists.
